Luggage
Well, as the time is going by we want to make sure you are working on getting your passport if you don't have it already. As soon as you have it in your hand make sure you send us a photocopy of it.
Another thing you might want to start looking for is a good suitcase. We always bring the ones that roll since it's easier to move around (especially for girls). The weight limit is 50 pounds per bag. You are allowed 2 bags on the airplane but we very strongly recommend bringing only one since we will be taking trains and moving around.
With your one suitcase we would suggest you bring a backpack that you can carry around during the day. It is nice to have a place for your water, snack or anything you might need to have with you.
If you are thinking about bringing your camera - it is safe. You just have to make sure you don't loose it or leave it behind.
All other appliances (like hair dryers, flat irons, video cameras,...) won't work because of the plug-ins.
Also you should start looking for a comfortable pair of shoes if you don't own one. We will be walking a lot and you don't want to walk around in flip flops or shoes that hurt your feet.

The Latest E-mail From Lance
The time is fast approaching. I know some of you are really beginning to grasp the fact that you are about to embark on the adventure of a life time-a short term mission's trip. I know some of you are questioning your decision to go on this trip. I want to point out to you that in going you are going to do something "bigger than yourself." Remember that God's "bigness" includes the fact that He's already been to Europe, Africa, and Asia. In fact, He's been to every place in every corner of the world. We will not be taking God to them; God has been there all along. He's only been waiting for you to come participate in His mission. So-if there is a voice in your head wondering why you signed up for this-quiet that voice and take the leap of faith into one of the greatest adventures that you will ever experience.
Just a reminder to be sending in your finances as the come. The goal is to have $1000.00 (that includes your deposit) in by April 1, 2008. The balance should be in to our office no later than May 10, 2008. Make sure you communicate with me if you are having troubles with raising your mission's funds.
All of you should have ordered your passports by now. If you have your passport, I need a photo copy of the page that has your picture and info. on it. You need to mail it to my office ASAP: 2147 Overland Avenue, Suite 100 / Billings, MT 59102.
The next email will have some questions that you all should take the time to look up. It is important to do some research on the place that you are going. In saying that, we will be in a town called Kosice, Slovakia most of the time.
PRAYER: Lord, I lift this mission's trip up to you. Thank you for this opportunity that each of us have to go to a country and be an extension of your hands. Thank you that we live in a country where we can do something like this. I pray that you will direct our efforts from start to finish. I pray that your spirit would go ahead of us and prepare the path. Prepare our heart for this experience. I pray all this in your name! Amen
